Principal’s Message
Cauvery College Virajpet started in the year 1980 as Women’s college with the noble idea of imparting quality higher education to underprivileged rural women under the able leadership of Cauvery Education Society Gonikoppal which was established in the year 1968, the college could realise its dreams.
After achieving its goal of Women education the idea was extended to give higher education to economically and socially weak rural men as well . As a result it started giving education to the boys and become Co-Education college in the year 2008.
The college campus is spread over 9.17 acres with all the facilities to import higher education with best infrastructure, well equipped library, play fields and dedicated staff, the college is forging ahead and in par with any college in the state.
The institution is re-accredited by NAAC in the month of April 2017 and awarded B+ Grade with 2.60 CGPA. I am sure with the selfless efforts and commitments of all stake holders the institution with scale greater heights in the future.
